RedNote Saver
Downloads the videos on the page you are already viewing. Runs entirely in your browser — your IP, your session, nothing uploaded.
- Open RedNote and go to the video (or your profile page).
- Let the page finish loading.
- Click Fast or Original in your bookmarks bar.
- Confirm the panel, then press Download.
Files go to your normal Downloads folder. The panel lists how many files it found before anything starts.
No need to navigate first: paste any note or profile link into the box in the panel and press Go.
Two bookmarks, same tool. Fast takes the highest-resolution transcoded stream — small and quick. Original takes the uploaded source file: better bitrate, much larger, and often slower. The bookmark sets the default; the panel's switch still works.
On Chrome or Edge, tick Turbo and pick a folder once. Downloads then use
8 parallel byte ranges and are written straight into that folder — no browser
download and no temp file. The folder is remembered for next time. Originals also use the faster
hw CDN host.
A note page often has a video and its cover, or several photos. The panel lists every file with a checkbox; All / None toggles the set. Only the ticked files download. Fast/Original applies to the video.
Open your own profile page and run the tool. It scrolls to collect note links, shows a queue with a status per note, and downloads them one at a time. Set Wait to 1.5 s, 3 s (default) or 6 s — slow is deliberate. Press Stop to end early.
Being signed in on rednote.com does not sign you in on xiaohongshu.com,
and note IDs are not interchangeable. The tool stays on whichever site you are already on; a
link from the other site is refused with a message instead of failing silently.
The script reads the data the RedNote page already loaded and hands the file URL to your own browser. It never reads, stores, or transmits your cookies. Nothing reaches a third-party server, so there is nothing to breach.
The extension adds a queue, progress, and reliable filenames. Download the zip, unzip it,
then load it once from chrome://extensions (Developer mode → Load unpacked).
